Recent Successes

Arson

The Firm has successfully defended an individual charged with Conspiracy to Commit Arson in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Harassment by having all charges dismissed in District Court. (March 2005)

For another client, the Firm successfully negotiated a Probation Before Judgment disposition in Circuit Court for Arson in the Second Degree, Malicious Burning and Malicious Destruction of Property. (January 2005)

Assault

The Firm obtained a Not Guilty verdict in Circuit Court for an individual charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Carrying a Weapon with Intent to Injure, and Disorderly Conduct. (December 2004)

The Firm obtained a Not Guilty verdict for another defendant charged with Assault in the Second Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property. (October 2004)

Three separate charges of Assault in the Second Degree for one individual were successfully defended by the Firm. Two out of the three were dismissed and the third was placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (January 2005)

The Firm successfully negotiated a Probation Before Judgment in District Court for an individual charged with two counts of Assault in the Second Degree and two counts of Violation of Probation. (August 2004)

Serious charges of Possession of a Handgun and Assault in the Second Degree against one of our clients were successful defended by our Firm with both charges being dismissed in District Court. (May 2004)

Burglary

The Firm successfully negotiated in Circuit Court the dismissal of Burglary in the Third Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the Third Degree, Burglary in the Fourth Degree, Theft, and Malicious Destruction of Property in exchange for a guilty plea on a lesser charge of Resisting Arrest. (August 2004)

Charges of Burglary in the Third Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property were all placed on the inactive docket in Circuit Court. (May 2005)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Burglary in the Fourth Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Theft by having all charges placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (May 2004)

All charges of Burglary in the Third Degree and two counts of Assault in the Second Degree for an individual defended by our Firm were dismissed in District Court. (April 2004)

Drug Offenses

After a highly publicized arrest for CDS: Importing Into State and CDS: Possession with Intent to Distribute Large Amount of Marijuana and Cocaine which included over 50 pounds of Marijuana and 30 kilos of Cocaine, this Firm convinced the State's Attorneys' Office to dismiss all charges against our client. (May 2005)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with CDS: Possession - Not Marihuana, CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia, along with several Traffic Violations with a ruling of Not Guilty on the Drug Charges and Probation Before Judgment on the Traffic Violations. (December 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with CDS Possession-Marihuana, CDS Possession- Paraphernalia and 4th Degree Burglary by having the CDS Possession charge placed on the inactive docket and the remaining charges dismissed in District Court. (November 2004)

A successful defense by our Firm in two separate cases resulted in charges of CDS: Possession of Marihuana and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia being dismissed in District Court. (August 2004 & September 2004)

In another case involving charges of CDS: Possession with Intent to Distribute, CDS: Possession of Marihuana, and CDS: possession of Paraphernalia we successfully defended our client by having all charges placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (July 2004)

The Firm negotiated a Probation Before Judgment in Circuit Court for an individual charged with CDS: Possession of Marihuana and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia. (May2004)

Domestic Violence

In a domestic incident alleging Assault in the Second Degree and Violation of an Ex Parte/Protective Order the District Court returned a Not Guilty verdict on all charges against our client. (June 2005)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged in a domestic incident with Burglary in the Fourth Degree, Trespassing, Theft, and Violation of an ExParte Order by having all charges dismissed in District Court. (September 2004)

Drunk Driving

The Firm successfully obtained a Probation Before Judgment for an individual charged with Driving Under the Influence Per Se and dismissal of the remaining charges of Driving While Impaired, Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Drive Right of Center and Negligent Driving. (June 2005)

In a similar case, the Firm again negotiated Probation Before Judgment on the Charge of Driving Under the Influence and obtained dismissals on additional charges of Driving Under the Influence Per Se, Driving While Impaired and Negligent Driving. (March 2005)

An individual received Probation Before Judgment for charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, and Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit after successful negotiations by our Firm in District Court. (August 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with Driving (Attempting to Drive) a Vehicle while Impaired by CDS, Negligent Driving, CDS: Possession- Not Marihuana, and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia by having all charges placed on the inactive docket in District Court (June 2004)

Firearms and Gun Offenses

The Firm successfully negotiated a Probation Before Judgment in Circuit Court for an individual charged with illegally purchasing a firearm. (October 2004)

Similarly, the Firm was able to have charges dismissed for a client charged with illegally purchasing a firearm and conspiracy to illegally purchase a firearm. (October 2004)

Juvenile Matters

The Firm had Arson - 2nd degree, Malicious Burning - 1st Degree, Malicious Burning - 2nd Degree, Burglary - 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property, Theft, and Conspiracy charges dropped against a juvenile client in exchange for a plea of guilty on a Trespass charge. (December 2004)

The Firm successfully convinced the State's Attorneys' Office to dismiss all charges against a juvenile male facing Sex Offense, Child Abuse, and Sodomy charges. (April 2004)

Murder & Manslaughter

The Firm successfully defended an individual facing serious charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, First Degree Assault and Handgun violations by having all charges dismissed in Circuit Court. (August 2004)

Robbery

Facing charges of Armed Robbery, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Robbery, Theft and several counts of Assault, our client could have spent many years in jail. Instead the Firm convinced the Court to dismiss all charges. (August 2004)

Several cases of Robbery and Assault in the Second Degree defended by our Firm have either been placed on the inactive docket in District Court or the client has received Probation Before Judgment in Circuit Court. (January 2005)

More recently, the Firm successfully defended an individual charged with 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Deadly Weapon along with other charges by having all charges dismissed in Circuit Court. (February 2005)

An individual charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault in the First Degree, Theft, and Use of a Handgun in the Commission of a Crime had all charges dismissed in Circuit Court after a successful defense by our Firm. (July 2004)

The Firm convinced the Circuit Court to only impose an eighteen month term of incarceration in a local Detention Center for a client charged with four counts of Armed Robbery, four counts of Robbery , three counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and three counts of Theft Under. Two co-defendants, who were not represented by this Firm, received sentences of six years incarceration. (September 2004)

Sex Offenses

On charges of Rape in the 2nd Degree, Sex Offense in the 2nd and 4th Degree, Assault in the 2nd Degree, in addition to other charges, our Firm successfully defended an individual by having the Rape charge placed on the inactive docket and all other charges dismissed in District Court. (March 2004)

Our Firm successfully defended a male juvenile charged with Child Abuse, 2nd Degree Sex Offense, and Sodomy by having all charges dismissed in Juvenile Court. (April 2004)

Charges of Indecent Exposure and Disorderly Conduct filed against one of our clients were successfully defended by having all charges placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (November 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with three counts of Fourth Degree Sex Offense by having all charges dismissed in Circuit Court. (March 2004)

Theft

Charged with 2 counts of Theft Over $500 and 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Theft Over $500, our client received Probation Before Judgment on one count of Theft and had the remaining charges dismissed in District Court. (October 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with Theft Under $500 and Credit Card Theft by receiving a Not Guilty verdict in District Court. (January 2005)

Thirteen counts of Theft Over and Under $500 and Conspiracy to Commit Theft Over and Under $500 for one individual were successfully defended by this Firm by receiving Probation Before Judgment on only one count of Theft Under $500 and having the remaining charges dismissed. (August 2004)

The Firm successfully negotiated a Probation Before Judgment in District Court for a client charged with Conspiracy to Commit Theft and successfully defended the same individual when he was also charged with Theft Over by having this charge dismissed. (July 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with the Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle by having the charge placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (March 2004

In a similar case we successfully defended a client facing charges of Auto Theft, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Theft by having all charges placed on the inactive docket on District Court. (June 2004)

White Collar Crimes

Charges of Forgery of Private Documents, Conspiracy/Forgery of Private Documents along with other charges against an individual defended by our Firm were placed on the inactive docket in District Court. (February 2005)

In a similar case handled by our Firm, three counts of Forgery of Private Documents, three counts of Theft Over $500 and six other related charges were all dismissed in District Court. (November 2004)

The Firm successfully defended an individual charged with two counts of Giving a False Statement to a Police Officer and Hindering by having all charges dismissed in Circuit Court. (March 2004)
